POLICE want to hear from a man who reportedly stopped his vehicle in Muirfield Road, Watford and threatened an eight-year-old boy wheeling a motorcycle along the road.
Police were told the man grabbed the boy's wrist but the boy managed to break free and run off.
Police want to hear from the man to establish exactly what happened and why.
The alleged incident took place at around 9.30pm on Monday.
The man is described as being black, in his early 30s, 5ft 11ins to 6ft tall and of stocky build.
At the time of the incident he was believed to have been wearing a black T-shirt possibly with a picture of a skeleton on it.
He is said to have got out of a white van with red lettering on the side and possibly ladders on the roof.
