Tonight marks the official launch of this year's Abbeyfest the best fringe theatre and music festival outside Edinburgh.
Held at Merton Abbey Mills the festival boasts more than 40 different acts or 167 performances during the next seven weeks.
Getting the festival off to a cracking start are musician Georgie Fame and comic Craig Charles.
With more than 20 albums and 14 hit singles to his credit Georgie comes to the festival as one of the great British vocalists.
Throughout his career he has been at home in rock, jazz and big bands. He will be on The Bandstand at 8pm.
At 10pm TV star and stand-up comic Craig Charles will be in the Colour House Theatre.
The star of Red Dwarf and more recently Robot Wars kicks off the first of seven comedy shows which will be held every Friday night.
