The airwaves over Sutton will soon be reverberating with the sound of Youth FM which is due back next week for the sixth time in as many years.
Youngsters aged between 14 and 21 will be broadcasting 24 hours a day on 87.9FM from Tuesday, July 10, to Monday, July 30.
And listeners will be able to phone in their requests on 020 8773 1424, text them over on 07960 686519 or e-mail them on requests@radio.fm. Other
e-mails can be sent to youthinfo@radio.fm.
The Youth FM Road Show will also spread the
stations sound to secondary schools in the borough.
The tour starts with Greenshaw High School on July 10, then Stanley Park High on July 11, Wilsons on July 16, Carew Manor on July 18, John Fisher on July 19, Overton Grange on July 20 and Glenthorne High on July 23.
And throughout the summer holidays from July 26, Youth FM will be running Club 15 at Zoots every Thursday.
Tickets are priced £4 and will be on sale from Leisure Stop in Sutton
