Suttons Deputy Mayor Councillor John Dodwell made a visit to Roundshaws Early Years Centre to help the youngsters celebrate its second birthday.

Built as part of the estates multi-million pound regeneration project, the centre provides nursery care for children aged from two and a half to five years old.

Margaret Grew, the centres manager, said It has been an eventful two years for everyone involved with the project and we are very proud that our achievements have been recognised by Sutton council and in particular the Deputy Mayor Councillor John Dodwell.

The centre was set up specifically to care for the children of parents taking up work or training opportunities. The centre has a wide range of play equipment, educational toys and a secure, covered outdoor area. It has 24 full-time places and is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm.
