THERE is something rotten about a government which employs spin doctors who are prepared to bury bad news when tragedy occurs.
Jo Moore, advisor to the Transport Ministry, sent e-mails suggesting on September 11 as the Twin Towers were crumbling, the Pentagon being hit and a fourth plane crashed possibly on its way to the White House that this would be a good time for concealing any news unfavourable to the government.
The fact that she is still in her job just shows the cynical lengths this government will go to to distort the truth.
