ONGAR'S Christmas celebrations promise to be another knockout after boxing celebrity Frank Bruno agreed to turn on the town's festive lights for the second successive year.
The boxer turned panto star will be in Manor Square in the High Street at 7pm on Friday, November 30, but the festive evening begins at 6pm with school choirs singing carols in the Budworth Hall.
There will also be a display of floral arrangements by Ongar Flower Club.
During the evening certificates will be presented to the winners of the Ongar Town Partnership poster competition.
Street entertainers will be in the High Street, and food and drink will be served.
