My wife Justine gave birth to our first child, Simon, at the Edgware Birth Centre (EBC) on the morning of October 11, 2001. I am writing to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at this midwife-led facility housed at Edgware Community Hospital.
The level of care that my wife received during her pregnancy, labour and delivery was exceptional.
We felt comfortable, relaxed and informed throughout the two days that we spent at the unit and feel it has given us the best possible start as a new family.
We would recommend EBC to any prospective parents wishing to investigate alternative settings for the delivery of their babies.
