Recent newspaper reports may cause your readers some concern as to their possible treatment at Barnet Hospital.

Just over two years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. Almost immediately, I was operated on in the new part of the hospital, and as a result of the very skilled work done, I have made a full recovery. I would not have received better treatment anywhere.

The follow up out-patient treatment was a different story. The organisation of out-patient appointments struggled with the constant changes of venue caused by the building works, inadequate parking facilities and general confusion and poor signposting on the site.

The staff at the hospital have to deal with this on a daily basis and should be supported by the community in their efforts.
