Croydon MO Ladies looked to rebound from last week's disappointing result against Kenley when they tackled a strong Cranleigh team.
Croydon started well and were rewarded when Liz Bond scored after good work on the right wing from Helen Anderson.
However, Croydon were then guilty of sitting back and failed to defend the lead when Cranleigh scored shortly before half-time.
