In Ryman Division One the meeting between Dulwich Hamlet and Tooting and Mitcham had the ingredients of a lively game and for the first half it lived up to that.

Dulwich opened the scoring when Luke Edghill scored from close in on 12 minutes but the game exploded on 29 minutes when Landgry Zahana-Oni was sent off for an off the ball incident.

Tooting took advantage of the extra man and drew level on 42 minutes when Matt Gray fired home from the edge of the box.

The second half never really produced the excitement of the first half and Dulwich held out for a well earned point in a 1-1 draw.

Whyteleafe had a poor result at home to Barking and East Ham losing 4-2. This was the visitors second win all season and was achieved with 10 men for the last 20 minutes of the match in which Barking wrapped the game up.

The Leafe took the lead in the fifth minute when Paul McKay fired home but it took Barking only two minutes to draw level.

Despite a further goal from Leon Dillon, the Leafe found themselves 3-2 down at half-time and with Barking down to 10 men, Whyteleafe should have taken advantage. But the game went the other way with another goal from the visitors and a home defeat.

Meanwhile in Division Three, Croydon Athletic, who faced fellow promotion candidates Chalfont St Peter, ran out convincing winners 2-0.

Scorers were Elliott Lyward and Simon Liddle. The win continued Athletic's great League run, with only one defeat in 11 games.
