The Crystal Palace Partnership Sports Project will be running two training courses in November, held at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, for people interested in becoming sports coaches.
The Community Sports Leaders Award is a 10-day course which gives participants an excellent chance to gain valuable sports coaching knowledge and practical experience.
Participants will learn valuable skills in coaching young children, organising tournaments, fitness, first aid and more.
The second course is UK Athletics Level 1 which teaches a basic understanding of all the athletics events along with first aid and disability awareness training.
Attendees can then deliver athletics training in a club situation whilst supervised by a higher level coach.
The courses not only give participants a recognised coaching qualification but also offer valuable experience and knowledge of leading and coaching sports activities.
SRB Sports Development Officer Jacqueline Hardyman said: "Over 400 new sports coaches have now qualified to deliver quality coaching locally.
"The November courses have a limited capacity so anyone interested in attending should contact us as soon as possible on 020 8461 7637."
