JAMIE CARTER continues to take the Premier Division by storm with a second successive hat-trick firing Bovingdon to their second straight win.

"He has turned our season round," eulogised Bovingdon manager Paul Hobbs, who saw the powerful front-man brush aside the challenge of local rivals Chipperfield.

Croxley Guild secured a vital 3-1 away win at Elliott Star which propels them out of the relegation zone, while Oxhey Jets demonstrated the resilience and fire-power that brought them the title last season as they fought back from two goals down to defeat Hatfield 4-2.

Bedmond's five-match winning run came to an abrupt end as they were defeated 2-1 at home to Frenford in the Capital Counties Feeder League Trophy, in what manager Andy Kent described as their "worst performance of the season."

And Sun Postal suffered their second successive loss as they crashed out of the same competition away at Netherne Villlage, following some bizarre refereeing decisions.

New Evergreen boss Gordon Wallis, was "pleased with the commitment of the team," after they were held to a goalless draw at home to North Mymms.

A hat-trick from birthday boy Darren Glenister saw Bushey Rangers come from behind to record an emphatic 4-1 victory away at Hoddesdon Town Reserves in the first round of the Herts Intermediate Cup.

Elsewhere in the competition, a late goal from Lee Pope saw ten-man Oxhey Jets Reserves record a superb 1-0 win away at Tring Athletic Reserves.
