HARROW recorded their first points of the season with a 12-5 victory away at Hemel Hempstead on Saturday, October 20.

Harrow, playing up the slope in the first half, assumed a half-time lead thanks to a try by Sinclair after an exceptional outside break by Colgate, converted by Smith.

In the second half, Harrow roared down the slope with great skill and secured two very kickable penalties within close range as Hemel struggled to repel the inter-passing of the Harrow forwards.

Both were missed badly but almost immediately Argent, after excellent passing between the forwards, scored in the right-hand corner.

Only one converted try ahead, Harrow continued to dominate the half and it was only through occasional mistakes that Hemel threatened.

Maskell had another influential game at the front of the line-out and Kennedy and Nurse were very prominent in the loose. Overall the superior skill of Harrow forwards won the game with the conditions unsuited to back play.
