The Pisces Players are a great example of an amateur dramatics group that doesn't fit the stereotype.

Far from having the majority of its members verging on retirement age, for the most part those taking part in the Ealing group's latest production are in their 20s and 30s.

Their play, Key for Two by John Chapman and Dave Freeman, also involves a bit of a revealing scene.

"It's a jolly farce about a young lady in Brighton who manages to have two lovers, neither of whom knows about the other," explains the players' Hazel Talbot.

"There's a particular scene that goes down very well, where she's caught in flagrante in her scanties!"

The Pisces Players, established in 1979, meet every Tuesday evening at St. Andrew's Church Hall in Ealing. They put on three productions a year, ranging from thrillers and serious plays like Silas Marner to Alan Ayckbourn farces.

In 1998 the players won an Ealing Arts Amateur Drama Award for their performance of Les Liasions Dangereuses.

Anybody wishing to join them underwear scenes not obligatory should call Hazel on 8997 7131.

Key for Two will be at St. Andrew's Church Hall, Mount Park Road, Ealing from tonight (October 25) until Saturday.

Performances are at 8pm and tickets are £5 (concessions £3.50).
