CHEFS from Harlowbury Primary School have been spicing up school dinners after taking cooking lessons from celebrity chef Lesley Waters.
The chefs, from education catering specialist Scolarest, attended the cookery masterclass with 150 other school cooks from around the region.
The Scolarest chefs will now incorporate Miss Waters, ideas into the menus for the new term, making school meals more exciting.
Among the selection of dishes prepared were roasted turkey balls and red tommy sauce, Thai chicken curry and giant oven chips with fish dip.
Miss Waters, who appears regularly on BBC cookery show Ready, Steady, Cook, said: "It was great to meet all the school chefs at the masterclass. They do a really demanding job and I was bowled over by their enthusiasm. I hope pupils enjoy my recipes."
