Dulwich Hamlet boss Martin Eade was far from pleased with his sides weekend 1-1 draw at Harlow Town, but felt the team were worthy of the point they eventually gained.

Happy is not the word to describe how I felt, but Im satisfied, he said, after Rob Frenchs late penalty earned Dulwich a point.

The performance of Harlow was probably a bit above ours, but we have not quite reached the level we are capable of yet.

I am happy with the commitment of the players though.

We had a bad first half, but improved after the break and I felt we deserved our equaliser.

This Saturday, Dulwich face a trip to Slough Town, who have yet to win a home game. But Eade is not reading anything into that statistic.

I dont take any notice of those records. We have just got to get on with the game, he said. They have got a lot of very experienced players and it will be a hard fixture for us.

Dulwich have recovered from their poor start to the season and are on a run of just one defeat in eight games.

But Eade is still on the lookout for new talent for the club.

I have got my eye on two or three new signings because we need a bit more strength in depth, he said.

We have had a few injuries lately, with our two forwards out with knee problems. The two front lads at the moment are quite similar sorts of players, so it will be good to have some different options.
