I refer to the Mick Bathe's letter in which he criticizes "young mum" drivers.

As recently as June 13, you published a letter from Mick Bathe where he stated it was impossible for him to come and go in his car for two hours in the morning and again for an hour at 3.30pm, because of the bad parking habits of the parents of Holy Innocents School Children.

If this is the case, then how has Mr Bathe managed to get to Crofton School at the same time to complain about them?

Unfortunately I do not fall into the category of 20-30 year old mums, nor do I drive a 4x4 vehicle, but I am a mother of school age children and I do drive them to and from school on my way to work.

The roads are full of careless drivers and I resent all the blame falling on mums - what about the people who have been driving for years and get complacent or do not make allowances for the increased traffic on our roads these days?

I ask Mr. Bathe - do you have a problem with parents of school children?
