A FORMER company director has been banned from holding a managerial post for two-and-a-half years after a Northfleet firm went bust.
David Cumberland, of Gorse Wood, Hartley, was director of Downtown Marine Construction, which went into receivership three years ago with debts of more than £400,000. The company traded from Crete Hall Road.
Cumberland was disqualified at the High Court with another director, Ian Bone, from Bapchild, in Kent, for "continuing to trade at the risk of creditors" from September 1998 to December 1998.
