CHRISTMAS lights will decorate Wanstead this year, thanks to financial help from the area committee budget.
Councillors agreed to match money raised by the Wanstead Business Partnership to light up the High Street over the festive season.
The committee, which met at Wanstead Library on Monday, will contribute a maximum of £2,500 to the project.
