Police are warning women to be extra vigilant at night after a series of indecent assaults near Battersea Park.
Three women, all walking on their own after dark, have been attacked since last Thursday in the area from Battersea Park Road towards Battersea Park.
The attacks, which are believed to be linked, all happened between 8.45pm and 11.30pm.
A police spokesman said: We advise all women to be alert and take extra precautions while they are out.
If women do have to walk alone after dark, be alert to who is around you and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Keep your mobile phone accessible, but not visible and try and stick to main roads.
Let friends and family know where you are heading and when you are expected to arrive at your destination. If you have to walk alone after dark, do not linger or ever talk to any strangers.
If approached, walk away quickly and seek help at houses nearby if necessary.
The attacker has been described as a white man, about 6ft, in his late 20s with short, light hair.
Anyone with information should call DS David Cox on 020 7350 1122.
