Wandsworth volunteers took part in a clean up of The Causeway Island ecology area, off Armoury Way, on Sunday.
They were provided with cleaning equipment to clear rubbish from the area, which is adjacent to the mouth of the river Wandle.
Wandsworth Council joined forces with green group Groundwork Merton, to organise the event.
