It was a bad day at the office for Fulham striker Luis Boa Morte against Ipswich Town last Sunday.

The Portugese player missed a first-half penalty which would have put Fulham 2-0 ahead and then just before the break he was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for diving in the penalty area.

Boa Mortes first booking came midway through the first half for a foul which floored the Ipswich defender Fabian Wilnis.

But the Tractor Boys were unable to take advantage of their numerical superiority and the two sides played out yet another draw.

In nine Premiership games, Fulham have drawn five times, while Ipswich have drawn on four occasions.

Fulham opened the scoring through Barry Hayles, who hit the target from six yards after the visitors failed to clear the ball.

Boa Morte then failed from the spot Fulhams second successive penalty miss after Louis Saha failed to convert his against Aston Villa last week.

Ipswich midfielder Jermaine Wright on his 26th birthday equalised for the Blues 10 minutes into the second half.

The result means Fulham and Ipswich have now won just one game apiece this season.
