Take a break from the real world and enter the world of Constance Viola Weber (Nenagh Watson).

She believes she is from Venus and, via hyperspace, has a direct line to the Ultimate. Live computer bugs, an autonomous borg, webcam sex changes and heavenly visions (along with a compelling narrative) takes each audience member on their own virtual journey.

Kaffe Matthews underscores it all with a specially-commissioned industrial midi-sound score.

So if trailer trash, sci-fi nerds and cyber camp excite you, this evening will intrigue and entertain.

And make sure you take your mobile phones.

Yes, mobile phones may be banned from most theatres but audiences are being encouraged to take their mobiles along to Doo Cots production of Life on Line.

This will form just one element in a show which combines theatre, fine art, sculpture and puppetry with an adventurous approach to the digital age.

The use for the phones is not revealed until part way through the performance, by which time the other strange goings on will have well and truly set the scene.

October 30, Life on Line, Miskin Theatre, Miskin Road, Dartford, £7.50/ £6.50, 7.30pm, 01322 629472.
