Carshalton Athletic boss Frank Murphy has transfer listed two new strikers as he looks to reshuffle his pack.

Murphy says there will be some comings and goings from Colston Avenue in the next few weeks after he made Wade Falana and Mark Hynes available.

The Robins boss also recently released Sean Daly and Andy Walker.

Although they got back to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Wealdstone last week, it was their first success since September 11 and Murphy believes now is the time to inject some fresh blood.

Dealings

The Robins boss recently signed 19 year old Danny Moore but promises this wont be the last of his dealings in the transfer market.

It was no secret I was looking for centre halves but we have got a squad of 21 and that is too many players here at the moment, he said.

We have too many strikers so I needed to do a balancing act and decided to give Wade and Mark the opportunity to look for new clubs.

Ive got a list of players that Im interested and hopefully we will have some new talent in place soon.

A fund raising evening at Carshaltons Colston Avenue ground in aid of injured Mark Costello last weekend was a huge success.

Almost 200 people turned up to support the event and Chelsea football club donated a number of souvenir and match day hospitality packages to be auctioned on the night.

Costello, speaking on the evening, said that the level of support and good wishes he had received had overwhelmed him. He has only been at the club a short time and said it had been a magnificent gesture by everyone at the club.

Robins youth team lost 3-0 to a strong Leyton Orient side in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday but they gave a very gutsy performance.

l The Robins are looking for a volunteer secretary to help run their Suburban League side. If you can help call Emma on 020 8642 8658.
