Sutton and Cheam water polo star Christopher Evans has won a place in next years Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Selectors have watched all recent First Division club games and selected the squad after a training camp in Serbia last week.
Chris, who trains at Esporta in Wimbledon, said: We had the opportunity to train and play with some of the best players in the world in a country where water polo is a professional sport.
The whole team learned a great deal from our time in Serbia and are now focused in our preparation for the Commonwealth Games.
Chris, who plays for Sutton and Cheam, added: I am very lucky Esporta offered me their pool to help with my England selection.
I doubt I would have been fit enough to compete at that level without the use of their facilities.
Chris believes England could win a medal at the games, but they will face stiff competition from Australia and South Africa.
