THERE are over 1.5 million volunteers in the UK who play a vital role in helping sports clubs and events thrive.
Sport England has recognised this and wants to assist in the training of these unsung heroes.
There is a free seminar being held on Thursday November 22 at Redbridge Sport and Leisure Centre, Barkingside from 6.30-9pm, that will be of interest to anyone working within the voluntary sports sector.
There will be updates on current Sport England programmes and the Lottery, as well as the chance to network with other voluntary sports sector clubs.
