AN ELTHAM man who ran an Orpington electrical shop has been banned from holding any company directorships after his business folded owing more than £100,000.
John Kelly, of Elmshurst Road, Mottingham, is also barred from taking any part in company management for four years after his business, Mr Electric London South East Ltd, in the High Street, Orpington, went into liquidation last year.
Mr Kelly had his case handled by new provisions of the Insolvency Act which allow for disqualification without involving the courts.
The business failed to make several payments when they were due.
It was was eventually dissolved after Mr Kelly was unable to pay debts of £124,118 to creditors.
