Women inventors working in London now have the chance to be recognised for their innovative skills.
The British Female Inventor of the Year Award 2002 has launched a category devoted to women working in research and development. The award is being seen as an opportunity to celebrate these women and encourage female students to consider science careers.
Successful inventors will share £20,000 worth of prizes. The closing date is November 9 and winners will be announced in February.
