Sheltered housing accommodation may undergo a borough-wide improvement following a review.
It revealed 720 sheltered units in the borough are of varying quality and that some were so unsuitable regeneration would have to be considered.
A report incorporating some of the proposals by independent consultants, HACAS Chapman Hendy, was put forward at the best value and audit committee on Tuesday.
