A £46,000 rare BMW was stolen last week by two robbers who rammed it with their van.
The 43-year-old woman driver was driving her BMW X5 Sport along Whitehorse Lane at 3.45pm on on Friday, October 19, when two men in a white Ford van bumped into the back of her car.
The woman got out when the van driver asked her to step out of her vehicle, but realised it had been no accident when the man climbed into her car and sped away towards Thornton Heath High Street.
The first thief was described as a 29-year-old black man, 6ft 3 inches tall and slim, with a goatee beard.
The other thief, who was also black, sped away in the white van.
South Norwood police are urging witnesses to call DC Troubridge on 020 8768 1212.
