A bus driver who was almost three times over the legal alcohol limit while driving in Wimbledon Broadway has been banned from driving any vehicle for three years.
William George Waller, 58, pleaded guilty at Wimbledon Magistrates Court this week to driving the 200 Mitcham Belle bus on August 10, while under the influence of alcohol.
He received a 100-hour community punishment order, 12 months rehabilitation and was ordered to pay £50 costs.
