Children across the borough donned pointy hats and scary make-up to mark hallowe'en.
At the Wandsworth Shopping Centre more than 50 youngsters transformed themselves into ghosts, witches and ghouls for a fancy dress competition.
The grim reaper also descended on the event to give a final judgement and to award prizes including Playstations and a mobile phone.
Meanwhile, children from the Wandsworth Childminders' Association enjoyed a hallowe'en party. The event was also to celebrate the work of member Dorothy Grey, who has been made an MBE for services to childminding.
