A new voluntary sector information service has been launched by Wandsworth Council.
Computer equipment being installed at all Wandsworth libraries will give voluntary sector users free access to information ranging from local events and initiatives to the latest funding, support and training opportunities in the borough.
Deputy council leader Councillor Maurice Heaster said: "The launch of the Voluntary Information Service heralds a new approach to the voluntary sector.
It offers a single point of access at libraries across Wandsworth for useful advice and information for the voluntary sector and community groups in the borough."
Visitors at the launch, held at Putney Library last Monday, viewed an exhibition on voluntary organisations in the borough including the Asian Women's Association, The Wandsworth Volunteer Bureau, Share Community and Rathbone, which provides training for people with disabilities.
Coun Heaster and representatives from voluntary organisations and community groups attended the launch.
