On Saturday Collingwood members took part in the second of four fixtures in the East Surrey League, the event taking place over a five mile cross country in Lloyd Park, Croydon.
A slightly depleted team performed well in the sticky conditions.
Dan Gillett led home in an excellent 15th place in a time of 33.26. Keith Dunning gained revenge for last week's defeat by Martin Lloyd as they sprinted to the line in 34.15 and 34.16 respectively.
Rob Mothersole provided his usual steady finish as he was timed at 35.10. Terry Fogarty showed he is continuing to improve as he finished in 36.44.
Ben Cady and Jess Strong provided another club contest as they finished in 36.59 and 37.02, and Malcolm Whelan completed the Collingwood entries as he finished in 42.18.
