IN-FORM Bovingdon recorded their fourth consecutive league victory with a 7-0 demolition of St Peters and now top the Premier Division table.

Leading marksman Jamie Carter continued his prolific form in front of goal with his four-goal haul taking his tally to ten goals since signing from Hemel Hempstead Town.

Danny Perman bagged a brace on his 30th birthday, while the other came from substitute Ben Dyer.

The tie of the round in the Aubrey Cup between Oxhey Jets and Bedmond was settled by a double strike from Jets in-form midfielder Ian Holdom.

With both sides attempting to play football, it was a surprise when the opening goal came via a long ball from the back which, after some hesitant defending and a slip by the keeper, allowed Gary Page in for a simple tap in.

The killer second goal came early in the second half when Bedmond were severely punished by Holdom for attempting to dribble out of defence.

With Bedmond now chasing the game, Oxhey put the result beyond doubt when Holdom seized on a parry by the Bedmond keeper to tap home.

Matt Bowen capped a good personal performance with a consolation penalty after he was upended in the box, but it was too little too late.

Luck continues to desert Chipperfield as they crashed out of the Aubrey Cup, 3-2 on penalties away at Hatfield, while Met Police Bushey were forced to come from two goals behind before defeating North Mymms 5-2.

Sun Postal ended a miserable run of form as they marched through to the next round with an emphatic 8-0 drubbing of Kimpton Rovers, however Croxley Guild suffered a second cup exit in a week as they shipped six goals for the second consecutive week and were beaten 6-2 by Bushey Rangers.
