A charity is looking for volunteers in Wandsworth to help parents with family relationships.
National charity Positive Parenting, which runs workshops in schools and nurseries to boost parents' confidence, hopes to start 90-minute sessions in Wandsworth schools later this term.
Programme director Camilla Douglas said the project was a unique opportunity for schools and parents to work together.
She said: "Teachers can only build on the foundations parents have laid at home to build children's self-esteem and set boundaries.''
South west London co-ordinator and parent Julie Shew said: "I've had excellent support and still need input, but I know many parents don't get any help.''
