Walthamstow: Detectives investigating the murder of Walthamstow actor Patrick Pasipanodya are appealing for two vital witnesses to come forward.

The two people in question were seen on motor scooters talking at the junction of Advent Way and Lee Park Way, Edmonton, at approximately 8.45pm the time of the murder on August 21.

Mr Pasipanodya, 29, of Farmilo Road, was shot in a drive-by incident while in his blue VW Golf.

Although both witnesses were wearing helmets, and police are unclear about their sexes, descriptions of the pair have been issued.

The first person is described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build, wearing light blue jeans and thin, dark, lightweight jacket and white trainers.

The helmet the person had on was a white, full-faced type and possibly had a pattern or transfer on it. The bike was a Peugeot or Piaggio motor scooter, 80cc to 125cc, red in colour and about a year old.

The other person is described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

The helmet was black and and resembled the style of the other one. This person had a similar scooter which was dark in colour.

Det Sgt Michael Berry of the Serious Crime Group said: "We are very anxious to trace these two individuals as they were in the area at the time of Patrick's murder.

"We are treating them as potential witnesses so we would urge them or anyone who may know who they are to come forward and help police with their inquiries."

Mr Pasipanodya was an actor who had appeared in The Bill and Minder and had also worked as a doorman.
