THE sentencing of the man who raped a 16-year-old schoolgirl will bring relief and satisfaction to many parents in Woodford.
For someone as young as Mitchell to have carried out such disgusting crimes is frightening. Let's hope he serves the majority of his 14 year sentence, and is not released after serving just a slice of it.
The Parole Board should think of the victim. Mitchell has served the schoolgirl a life sentence of her own as she will never be able to escape the memories of her horrific ordeal.
