Dulwich Hamlet manager Martin Eade wants his players to show more consistency.

Eades men have struggled to put together a consistent run of form this season having taken just five league points from a possible 15 and sit in an uncomfortable 17th place in Ryman League Division One.

However, in last Saturdays 2-2 draw at fifth-placed Ford United there were signs that Dulwich are starting to gel as a team.

Two penalties one either side of the interval from Steve French earned them a share of the spoils.

I think we were very competitive, said Eade. I was very pleased with how we controlled the game as the away side.

We created chances and I was encouraged with the performance of the players.

Things are starting to come together. If we keep doing the right things, consistency will come.

Keeping tight, working hard in defensive and creating chances those are the areas we are working on, but there is still room for improvement.

Eade says he is very pleased with how far Dulwich have progressed since he took charge of the team and added: In my 12 games as manager we have lost only three and one of those was to Northwood, who, in my view, are the best side in the league.

Dulwich will face another tough examination this Sat-urday when they travel to Division One high-flyers Bishops Stortford.

Martin Hayes men are just four points adrift of leaders Bognor Regis, having played a game more.

Like us they are an ex-Premiership side, looking to get back to where they came from, said Eade. We know this will be a challenge.

Eade will be without Lee Endersby, who injured his knee in Dulwichs 3-1 FA Trophy win over Evesham at Champion Hill, recently.

Lee will be out for another two weeks, said Eade.

Also Warren Burton is still a long term injury worry with his knee ligament problem but he is slowly coming back.
