POLICE are hunting a sex attacker this morning (April 1) after a woman was assaulted in St Paul's Cray last night.

Officers were called to the junction of Sevenoaks Way and Main Road at around 12.30am after reports a 35-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted.

The victim described her assailant as a white man aged in his 30s, around 5ft 8in tall, with stubble.

He was wearing a light coloured top, dark trousers and white trainers.

After the attack he fled down Main Road, which is opposite Gray's Farm Primary School.

Police remained at the scene this morning while they continue to conduct enquiries.

No-one has been arrested in connection with what police are describing as a “serious sexual assault”.
