Police have arrested two men in connection with the murder of 40-year-old Phillip Saville in Soho, two years ago.

The men were arrested during a raid on a residential address in Beckton, on Tuesday morning.

The men, who are both aged in their 20s, have been taken to a Belgravia police station for questioning.

Mr Saville, a father of two, died on August 18, 2001, following a fight with a group of men.

The Suffolk businessman suffered a fatal head injury when he was attacked by about six men at, at the junction of Wardour Street and Brewer Street, in the early hours of August 2

He was taken to St Mary's Hospital with a fractured skull and was later transferred to Wellington Hospital where he died.

A post mortem at Westminster mortuary on 20 August 2001 gave the cause of death as injury to the head.
