GRAB your helmet, adjust your leathers and ride like the wind. MX Superfly is a supreme moto-cross experience. With six different playing modes each containing mini-games there's plenty to keep you entertained for hours.

The backbone of the game, though, is the career mode in which you create a rider from scratch.

Start him/her in an amateur race, be placed first, second or third to earn cash, which in turn opens new tracks and course and advances your way up the professional ladder.

It's not easy but it's compelling and it keeps you returning for another re-match.

The mini-games mode has some unique challenges to face, such as bus jumping, where you try to jump over as many buses as possible; moto-golf, where you race round a golf course against the clock and many others, all of which can be played once you have opened the course via the career mode.

Another addition is the track editor.

This easy to use option allows you to create an entire stadium full of ramps, jumps and platforms from which to test you and your bike to the limits.

Then there is freestyle mode.

Here you have more time to perform the stunts you have learned or master some new ones while still trying to win the competition and earn points.

MX offers some very good background tracks from such artists as The Vandals and The Dickies and all this blends in very well with the gameplay.

The graphics are excellent, with detailed bikes and riders.

All in all it's a great buy for those racing fans out there.

Overall: 4/5
