Are there any other Daewoo owners of Croydon (especially cars covered by the three-year warranty), who have suffered since the demise of Daewoo, and the takeover by GM Motors?

Does anyone know the story behind this take-over? Why was it so painful for customers and staff? Does anyone know if GM Motors should be honouring all those glittering promises in the warranty? I haven't heard anything from them. I didn't realise owning a brand new car could be so inconvenient and stressful.
