It was question time for
Winterbourne Boys who grilled Croydon North MP on whether he thought we should go to war.
"What is the government doing about the recent discovery of ricin?" and "Do you think the English cricket team should play in Zimbabwe?" were among the questions directed at Malcolm Wicks when he visited Winterbourne Junior Boys' School this month.
The local MP had visited the school to talk about the importance of being a good citizen and was quizzed by sixth formers on whether he supported the government's position on recent events.
Malcolm Wicks said: "I was very impressed by the boys' understanding of citizenship and their rights and responsibilities as young citizens.
"I was impressed too by the strength of the boys' interrogation, as well as their knowledge of and interest in current affairs."
