Police are linking two brutal muggings to the same man.
In one case, a 38-year-old Epsom woman was knocked unconscious by her attacker who stole her cheque book and credit cards in Nonsuch Park.
She had been walking her dog behind the David Lloyd Centre tennis courts when she was attacked, between 1.25pm and 2pm on Sunday, January 19.
Two days earlier, the same man is believed to have knocked a 48-year-old woman to the ground and grabbed her handbag as she walked along Ewell Park Way, Epsom, between 8pm and 8.15pm.
