FOOTBALL: The Football League is being urged to block Wimbledon FC's bid to move to the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes before the end of the season. Nicole Hammond, chairman of Wimbledon Independent Supporters' Association, said: "The FA Commission approved a move to a 28,000-seater stadium in Denbigh, not a 6,000-capacity temporary Meccano stadium."
