BUSINESSES in Wanstead and Woodford are being asked to help make their workplace safer.
A seminar, entitled Working for a Safer Shopping Centre, aims to raise awareness of issues in the retail sector that are of concern to all employers and employees.
Staged by the Ilford Town Centre Retail Crime Initiative, it is specifically aimed at the business partnerships of South Woodford, Wanstead, Woodford Green, Barkingside and Hainault.
The seminar, which is free to all delegates, will include talks from Superintendent Bryan Horsley and Pierre Lombaard of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.
