FIREPOWER is to run an exhibition on Indian military artefacts from the Mughals to the Sikhs.
Woolwich's Royal Artillery Museum, located on the Royal Arsenal, expects to see more than 10,000 visitors during the annual Baisakhi Mela (Harvest Festival) on May 25.
The exhibition's opening day aims to show the sophistication, technology and craftsmanship of Indian military forces from the 16 to the 19 Century.
Firepower's Indian collection includes the Sutlej Sikh gun, the Tipu tiger headed gun, the sword of Mool Raj and the Howda pistol.
Visitors will be able to take part in local celebrations by trying Indian delicacies, listening to the beats of the Indian Dhol and watching fireworks light up the sky.
The exhibition will run throughout the summer.
