A prisoner who escaped from Wandsworth prison, yesterday afternoon is still on the run.
Police are searching for Eamon Donaghue, 27, who is believed to have vanished from the prison between 1pm and 1.30pm yesterday.
The Irishman is white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build with green eyes and light brown hair.
He was serving time for joyriding and assault on police.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said detectives were unable to provide details of what clothing Donaghue was wearing at this stage.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said this afternoon the prisoner had not been found and there was no more further information available about the escapee.
Police have used a helicopter to search the area surrounding the prison.
Police are advising the public not to approach Donaghue and dial 999 if he is seen.
