ALDENHAM parish church is holding a barbecue and sing-song at Westfield in London Road, Shenley, next month.
Proceeds from the event, which takes place on Saturday, June 21, from 7pm to 10pm, will go to the church.
Tickets cost £5 and include food and a glass of wine. To sign up for the event, visit the church in Church Road, Aldenham. Those requiring a vegetarian alternative should telephone Liz Cornelissen on 01923 856149.
The next church event is the annual garden party, which takes place on Saturday, June 28, from 2pm.
The event will be held at Edge Grove in Aldenham. There will be stalls selling produce, cakes and bric-a-brac, as well as sideshows and refreshments.
Anyone with contributions for the day, excluding perishables, should drop them off at the church in the box provided.
